Madi Saville, Senior Class President and Helena Teen Council Representative, gives her perspectives on what makes Helena great.
Community
Our small town feels like a family
Helena has such an amazing community that feels almost like a family. Every time you go to the grocery store you’ll always see a familiar face. It’s so amazing to live in a town that values each of their residents.
School Involvement
A place for every student
Whether it’s a sport, a club, or an organization, Helena’s schools have a fit for every student. At the high school, we have over 60 clubs and it is really a great way to get students connect and involved with one another.
Great Small Businesses
Shopping local keeps us together
All around Helena there are so many amazing small businesses. Places such as Oh My Sole, Native Beach Tan, Highway 52 Nutrition and Taylormade Clothing are some of my favorites. Our great small businesses make Helena distinct and unique and give people so many opportunities to shop local and support our community.
Sunsets at Helena High School
The amazing views and landscapes
One of the best parts about living in Helena is driving to Helena High School and watching the sunset. It is truly an amazing sight.
Friday Night Lights
Having Husky pride
So many families come out and support our football team each week. It’s such a fun vibe and we always have a huge crowd that turns out to support our arts and sports. The student section is always filled with high energy and it’s such an amazing thing to be apart of. Our cheerleaders and lettermen do a great job of hyping everyone up and encouraging the football players.
