The city of Hoover will host a health and wellness expo at the Hoover Recreation Center on Jan. 22 from 4-8 p.m.

The expo, which will be free to attendees, will have screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure, bone density and leg circulation, among others. There will also be financial and medical professionals on hand, as well as city of Hoover officials.

The expo is intended for people to be able to attend after work hours, said organizer Dee Nance.
