Leighton Johnson, a second grade teacher at Oak Mountain Elementary, was recently named the Bruno’s Golden Apple Award as Teacher of the Month.

Representatives from ABC 33/40 and Bruno’s presented her with a plague and Bruno’s provided her with a gift certificate and a basket of apples for her classroom.
