SCAC offers wire crochet jewelry making workshop

Are you looking for a creative outlet but don’t know where to begin? Check out the Shelby County Arts Council! We offer a variety of classes to fit any schedule. From one-day workshops to once a week classes, we have something that will work for you.
On Saturday, Aug. 1, jewelry artist Patti Sippola joins us for a unique wire crochet jewelry making workshop. Patti will teach students how to manipulate wire and beads with a crochet hook to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind statement necklace. No previous crochet experience is needed to take this class!
This workshop will take place Saturday, Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. until noon and costs $75. Students will need to bring one spool of craft or jewelry wire (28- or 30-gauge) in wire color of choice, one metal crochet hook (Size 5 or 5.5 mm) and an assortment of small size beads and crystals no larger than 7 mm. The instructor will provide the rest of the supplies.
