Marijuana, LSD, firearms seized in Alabaster raid

COLUMBIANA – A search warrant executed on Tuesday, May 26, in Alabaster resulted in one arrest and the seizure of narcotics, firearms and cash.
The warrant was executed in the 100 Block of Grandview Lane in Alabaster, according to a press release from the Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force.
Seized from the residence was LSD, marijuana, $10,947 in cash and multiple firearms, including an AK-47 and an AR 15 pistol.
Jamir Desha Black, 19, of Alabaster was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana first degree, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana second degree.
Black was released from the Shelby County Jail on Wednesday, May 27, on $12,000 bond.
“Jamir’s involvement in drug distribution in the Alabaster and Shelby County area remain under investigation and additional arrests are expected to follow,” the release stated.
