WESTOVER – A waste-water provider that serves parts of the U.S. 280 area is trying to help its customers during a difficult time.
Westover Mayor Larry Riggins said the manager of Enviro-Systems LLC indicated his willingness to make accommodations on billing for residents who may have lost jobs or had their hours reduced because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Stan Graves, manager of Enviro-Systems, told Riggins that customers who are not able to make their payments should contact the company through its website, Enviro-SystemsLLC.com, or call (205) 437-3779 Tuesday through Thursday.
Those in this situation should communicate with Enviro-Systems prior to the billing that takes place at the end of each month.
“This is another example of how the city of Westover has been positively impacted by having great civic-minded partners who genuinely care about our city and its customers,” Riggins wrote in a letter to residents. “The city and Enviro-Systems have had a close working relationship since 2004.”
Enviro-Systems serves residential and commercial customers in Westover, Vincent and Harpersville, including along the U.S. 280 corridor and two subdivisions: Willow Oaks and The Villages of Westover.
New customers will be added to the system in the coming years in the Yellow Leaf Farms and Pine Mountain Preserve subdivisions.
