Over the weekend, Shelby County could see some snow, said Michael Garrison with the National Weather Service.

There is a 60-70 percent chance of snow from late Saturday night to early Sunday morning, from midnight to 6 a.m. County citizens can expect to see about an inch of snow, he said.

“Sunday morning when you wake up, it’s going to be in the mid-to-low-30s,” Garrison said.

He said there’s a chance for severe thunderstorms and flooding the rest of today and possibly overnight.
