Customer service should be a priority

Dear Editor,
Where has the “customer service” gone? I have worked in a business for over 15 years where customer service is key.
I suppose working in this type business has taught me to look for good service, but also to expect it. Well guess what, I’m not getting it and neither is anyone else I have observed.
I wish we had a section of the newspaper that was dedicated to the search of good customer service. I know I would love to know where those places are and would be more than happy to give my business to those establishments that appreciate it. I would like to see lists of places of good service, as well as bad service.
We need to make it known that good customer service is not dead and is expected.
Perhaps this stand could encourage more places to emphasize the importance of earning and keeping customers, especially in the financial times that are upon us.
