CHELSEA – A multiple-vehicle wreck on Tuesday, June 11, in Chelsea closed both lanes of U.S. 280 westbound to traffic.

The wreck occurred near the Chelsea Walmart, according to a social media post by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office at about 1 p.m. on June 11.

“Please use an alternate route if possible or allow extra travel time to your destination,” the post read.
