There will be a showcase performance on Friday, June 21, at 6 p.m.
Acting Up is South City Theatre’s youth theatre division. Two workshops are offered per year for aspiring actors ages 9-18, and a Summer Musical Theatre Camp for ages 7-18. The organization’s fall musical workshop runs from September to November, and the spring workshop (non-musical) runs March to May.
Both workshops rehearse twice a week and culminate with a full production. The goal of these workshops is to guide young actors through the entire production experience, including the thrill of a curtain call. Space is limited, and all registered participants have an active role in the production.
