Milton “Buck” Ruston, age 88, of Columbiana, passed away Wednesday, March 13.

The visitation will be Friday, March 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Good Hope United Methodist Church. The funeral will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 16 at the church with Rev. Ricky Ruston and Rev. Lori Carden officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Buck worked at US Steel and served in the US Army. He was a member of the Good Hope United Methodist Church for 72 years and played piano for the Gospel Airs Quartet for 20 years.

Buck is survived by children, Mickey Ruston (Annette), Ricky Ruston (Margaret), Kristy Ruston Akin (Doug), and Toby Ruston; grandchildren, Kimberly Ruston Starns (Keith), Stacey Ruston Wilson (Jeremy), Ricky Ruston (Lauren), Heath Ruston, Candice Ruston Bunn (Brandon), Cherise Akin Richey (Nathan), Jared Akin, Caleb Ruston, and Jacob Ruston; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
