COLUMBIANA – The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Saturday night shooting that left one person dead, according to a press release from the department.

The shooting occurred at approximately 9:07 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, when Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies received a call to the 3700 block of Shelby County 77 on a report of a domestic violence related shooting. When deputies arrived on scene, they found one person deceased.

Investigators, along with the Shelby County Coroner’s Office were then called to the scene.
