HELENA – A night filled with food and opportunities to bid on special items all while helping support the Helena Middle School Band program will be taking place the first weekend in February.

The Helena Middle School Band Boosters invite everyone to attend “An Evening at Mardi Gras” featuring food, music, auctions and more all inside the Helena Middle School cafeteria.

The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. where tickets will cost $15 each.

A ticket to the event will include admission to a silent and live auction, dinner catered by Home Plate Cooking, live music by the HMS band and more.

Some of the auction items include two Alabama football tickets with a parking pass, concert tickets, specialty knives, a five-night stay in Orlando, Florida, gift certificates and more.

Tickets may be purchased from any HMS band member or at the door the night of the event.

This is one of the primary band fundraiser events of the year as all of the proceeds will help benefit the Helena Middle School band program.
