Donald Lamar Minor, 71, of Brierfield died Saturday, Jan. 5.

He was born on Saturday, April 19, 1947 in Alabama, son of the late Dewey Minor and the late Birdie Minor.

He was a carpenter.

Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Minor; daughter, Crystal Minor (Johnathan) Dreyer; granddaughter, Hope Nicole Dreyer; grandson, Johnathan Grayson Dreyer, Jr.; sister, Judy Easterling; niece, Lauren Baker; and nephews, Ricky Minor and Jeffrey Minor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Birdie Minor.

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 7 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Thurmond Cleckler officiating.

Interment will follow in Refuge Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
