HELENA – It’s hard to beat the bond that is shared between a father and his daughter and one of the more special moments occurs when the two share a dance at a wedding or other celebratory event.
One fun event where fathers and daughters can cut loose and have a good time will be at the upcoming Father-Daughter Dance hosted by the Helena Athletic Association.
The Father-Daughter Dance will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at the Helena High School cafeteria.
The association will host two separate dances based on age groups. The first father-daughter dance will be from 3:30-5:30 p.m. for girls in kindergarten through third grade. The second dance will be from 7-9 p.m. for girls in fourth through eighth grade.
There will be plenty of music, fun, light refreshments and of course dancing, as girls are encouraged to wear a party dress or their Sunday best.
The cost of the dance is $45 per couple and a $20 charge per additional daughter that attends the dance. The cost will include a professional picture, but the HAA encourages those who attend to bring cash for a photo booth.
The HAA is an organization that exists to support all Helena athletics by raising funds to support athletic programs at all levels. All proceeds from the dance will benefit Helena High School athletics.
The Helena Athletic Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose mission is to raise funds to support Helena’s entire student athletic program. Kids from elementary school through high school will benefit, according to the association’s mission statement.
