ALABASTER – The Alabaster Fire Department will continue its tradition of escorting Santa Claus through the city on Christmas Eve before he begins his journey around the world, and the department has released Santa’s touring schedule for the day.

In the weeks leading up to Christmas Eve, the city will place yellow and red Santa Stop signs throughout the city, which will mark the locations the fire trucks escorting Santa will stop to greet children. Each one of Santa’s stops will last between five and seven minutes, according to the AFD.

Throughout the day, the city will post regular updates on its “Alabaster City Hall” Facebook page and on the AFD’s Instagram account. The following is Santa’s tentative tour schedule in Alabaster, which may be altered if the AFD is called to respond to emergencies during the day.
