Pelham Skate School to debut ice skating show Dec. 8

PELHAM – The holiday season has arrived and the cast of the Pelham Skate School is preparing to tell a family’s story of holidays past with their upcoming performance, “Christmas Memories.”
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children. The ice skating show will take place on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and again on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m.
The show will feature special guest skater Amber Glenn, the 2014 Ladies U.S. Figure Skating National Champion. The cast also includes Irina Gonzalez-Sigler, 2018 U.S. Figure Skating Sectional competitor and Adam Hudson, the 2018 U.S. Figure Skating Adult National pewter medalist.
Just before intermission Magic City Theatre on Ice will exhibit their 2018 national championship winning performance. Fox 6 news with Jeh Jeh Pruitt will share a segment of the show during their broadcast on Friday, Dec. 7, at 7:20 a.m.
The Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena is the home of the Pelham Skating School, Birmingham Figure Skating Club and Magic City Theatre on Ice. These organizations, as members of U.S. Figure Skating, work in tandem and are dedicated to the development of figure skating by providing learn-to-skate opportunities and advanced training for competitive figure skating.
