Robin Dickinson of Birmingham and Joseph Smith of Sterrett announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Loretta Kelemen. She is a preschool teacher.

The prospective groom is the son of Pat Maxwell. He is a high school teacher.

The couple’s children are Kalani and Keanu Dickinson, and Ann-Katherine and Shelton Smith.

The couple will wed on June 2, 2018 in Vestavia Hills.
