PELHAM – For Pelham City Schools students, Monday, Feb. 19, will serve a required make-up day for instructional time missed as a result of inclement weather on Dec. 8, 2017.

Pelham City Schools were closed on Friday, Dec. 8, because of snow and hazardous road conditions. The governor did not declare a State of Emergency on that day. Therefore, according to state law, local school systems are required to make up the day.

The school calendar marks Monday, Feb. 19, as a designated professional development day for teachers with no students attending school. However, the day will now serve as an instructional day. All faculty, staff, and students should be in attendance at school on that day.
