HELENA–Griffin Farms of Helena’s inaugural Barnyard Christmas Bash set to take place Saturday, Dec. 9, has been cancelled due to the inclement winter weather on Friday, Dec. 8, planners of the event announced on Dec. 8.

The event was set to include pictures with Santa, opportunities for Christmas shopping with unique vendors, live music, crafts for kids, story time from Mrs. Claus, a farm play area, a live nativity scene, food trucks and a petting zoo.

Griffin Farms said a number of reasons caused the cancellation of the event, with the main reason being the deteriorating road conditions that will result in difficult travel conditions on Saturday.

Although saddened by the cancellation of the event, Griffin Farms said they have plenty of exciting events planned for 2018.
