Motorcycle riders in Shelby County will have a fun opportunity to join other riders at a Veteran Appreciation Bike Night and Ride sponsored by the Motorcycle Supply Store in Helena.

The ride will take place Saturday, July 29, where participants will meet at Chubbfather’s located at 1207 First St. N. in Alabaster at 1:30 p.m. for registration.

Kickstands will go up at 3:30 p.m., and the ride will travel through Columbiana, Calera, Montevallo, Centreville and Tuscaloosa before concluding at the Motorcycle Supply Store located at 101 Gunner Lane in Helena around 6 p.m.

Once the ride is over, the nightlife will begin as Bike Night will take place from 6-9 p.m. with live music, food, drinks and giveaways at the supply store to cap off the veteran appreciation event.

The cost to ride is $20 per bike and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to The American Legion Post 555 riders.
