ALABASTER – Thompson Middle School is looking to help parents avoid waiting in line to secure their child’s locker for the upcoming school year by offering a “virtual locker line” this summer.
Beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 7, TMS students will be able to sign up for a locker online rather than waiting in line at the school as in past years, according to the school’s website. To access the online locker signup, click the “Virtual Locker Line” link on the TMS homepage.
“We will be taking payments for lockers and/or registration from July 10-21,” read the TMS website. “Early payments ensure that your student reserves their locker.”
TMS locker payments and early registration will be held at the school from July 10-21. The school will be open to parents for early registration from 8 a.m.-noon and from 1-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
To register early and reserve their child’s locker, parents must have completed online Infosnap registration, completed the online locker registration, bring a photo ID matching the proofs of residence being presented, bring copies of their two proofs of residence required by ACS and bring cash or check for registration and elective payments.

-Students who are not in band or choir must pay a general elective fee of $30.
– Students in band have the option of paying both the $80 and the $75 band elective fee during early registration/locker sales (total $155), or paying the $80 to reserve their locker. Band will also be accepting payments at the Aug. 1 schedule pick up.
