Join us at the Shelby County Arts Council gallery on Friday, June 23 for the History as Art exhibit gallery opening.
This gallery opening coincides with the Liberty Day celebration in downtown Columbiana.
This exhibit is part of the Alabama Bicentennial celebration.
The theme of the exhibit is historical in nature and reflects the unique history of Shelby County.
Artists in this exhibit were encouraged to visit the Shelby County Museum and Archives for their inspiration.
Each artist uniquely interpreted their findings in mediums such as photography, drawing, painting, 3D design and mixed media.
Kick off Liberty Day by joining us for this unique gallery exhibit opening reception at the Shelby County Arts Council on June 23 at 6 p.m.
There will be live music, refreshments and great art.
This event is free and open to the public.
