Logging crew. Logging was a hard and dangerous job. The logs here were most likely going to the mines for timbers as well as a local saw mill for lumber. This photo was taken around 1910, at Paramount, behind the present day Vulcan Quarry. Mr. Joe Argo is sitting on the mule in the front row of the photo. (Contributed/City of Helena Museum)
