ALSPRA to host annual conference March 2-3

ALABASTER–The Alabama School Public Relations Association (ALSPRA) will host their annual conference this year March 2-3 at the Shelby County Instructional Services Center in Alabaster, with exciting sessions for public relations professionals. Topics include communications ethics and law for school systems, website accessibility, media tips and training and more.
“We’re excited to build on the quality of programming we have offered in the past. This conference will feature on-trend content that school systems nationwide are facing to educate Alabama school leaders about issues on the horizon,” ALSPRA President Lesley Bruinton, APR, said of the upcoming event.
The event will feature speakers from around the country to discuss critical issues in the world of school public relations.
Shane Haggerty, Director of Marketing and Technology, Tolles Career and Technical Center in Plain City, Ohio and Dr. Julie Evans, CEO of Project Tomorrow in Irvine, California will be featured speakers at the event, in addition to many other experts in the area of PR.
Members of ALSPRA will attend the event, as well as superintendents, public information officers and principals from around the state.
