Atlanta man jailed for first-degree Theft in Chelsea

A 20-year-old Atlanta man is currently being held at the Shelby County Jail and has been charged with first-degree theft.
Mykell Jonathan Hunkins, who lists an address at Lake Sanctuary Way in Atlanta, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 21. His bond was set at $30,000.
Police say Hunkins was arrested after stealing $15,000 worth of items from a business on the 16000 block of U.S. Route 280 in Chelsea.
Hartley said the investigation is ongoing, and further arrests are possible.
The date for a preliminary hearing has not been scheduled, but Hunkins will appear in front of Shelby County District Court Judge Daniel Crowson.
First-degree theft is a class B felony, and can result in a prison term lasting from two to 20 years.
