Aug. 3

–Theft of property III from Shelby County 95, Helena (residence/home). A 2010 black utility trailer valued at $500 was stolen.

–Recovered property from Branch Drive, Helena (parking lot/garage). A Murray lawn mower valued at $100 and a Lawnboy silver series 5.0 HP lawnmower valued at $100 were recovered.

 

Aug. 4

–Theft of property II from West Trestle Way, Helena (construction). Two Alabama white marble granite slabs valued at $1,800 were stolen.

–Identity theft from 1600 block of Oak Park Drive, Helena (residence/home). U.S. currency valued at $1,600 was stolen.

–Domestic violence III harassing communications from Helena Road, Helena (highway/street).

 

Aug. 5

–Theft of property IV from Helena Road, Helena (drug store). Currency totaling $200 and a personal check valued at $60 were stolen.

–Theft of property IV from Timber Drive, Helena (residence/home). A blue Roadmaster bicycle with a pink chain guard valued at $70 was stolen.

 

Aug. 6

–Possession of drug paraphernalia from 6300 block of Shelby County 17, Helena (highway/street). A red straw containing a powered residue, five syringes, a baggie containing a powder residue and a metal container with an unknown residue were all confiscated.

 

Aug. 7

–Possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from Hillsboro Parkway at Appleford Road, Helena (highway/street). A plastic baggy containing 8.7 grams of multi-colored pills, a scale containing marijuana residue, a plastic baggy containing 3.6 grams of marijuana and a Bersa Thunder 45 Ultra Compact Pro handgun were all confiscated.

 

Aug. 8

–Trespass warning from Laurel Lakes Cove, Helena (residence/home).

 

Aug. 9

–Theft of property II from Old Cahaba Parkway, Helena (construction). Eighty squares of cambidean shingles valued at $400, four ridge vents valued at $120 and two rolls of roof flashing valued at $80 were stolen.

–Theft of lost property II from Chestnut Forest Drive, Helena (residence/home). Currency valued at $10 and a debit card was stolen.

–Theft of property III from Shelby County 13, Helena (residence/home). A Cub Cadet 44 inch deck mower valued at $250, a white handled push mower valued at $240, miscellaneous hand tools valued at $150, a 10-foot steel chain valued at $20 and a five gallon gas can valued at $20 was stolen.

 

Aug. 10

–Suicide investigation from Jonagold Road, Helena (highway/street). A Smith & Wesson .38 five shot revolver and a Samsung Galaxy Note II cell phone were recovered.

Aug. 11

-Fourth-degree theft of property from Green Park South (residence/home). Stolen was a cell phone valued at $500.

-First-degree theft of property from Green Park South. Stolen was a 2013 Polaris four wheeler valued at $5,000.

-Theft of property from Pelham Parkway (residence/home). Stolen were a printer, vacuum cleaner, gas grill and two storage bins valued at $298.94.
-Obstructing justice from County Road 52 (highway/street). Recovered was a .380 caliber pistol with magazine valued at $150.

-Property damage from Cahaba Valley Road (parking lot/garage). Damage to a 2005 Chevy Tahoe was valued at $200.

-Second-degree theft of property from Green Park South (residence/home). Power tools valued at $1,708.

Aug. 6

-Illegal possession/use of a credit/debit card from 2100 block of Pelham Parkway (specialty store).

-Property damage from Huntley Apartment Drive. Damage to a brick and wood wall was valued at $5,000.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from 100 block of Hayesbury Court (residence/home). Stolen was a cell phone valued at $600.

-Leaving scene of accident and driving under the influence of alcohol from Shelby County 52 (highway/street). Damage to the rear left panel of a 2004 Chevy Tahoe was valued at $500.

-Third-degree criminal trespass from Helena Road (service/gas station).

Aug. 7

Third degree burglary form Industrial Park Drive (commercial). Checks were stolen.

-Property damage from County Road 35 (highway/street). Damage to a 2015 Chevy Tahoe was valued at $390.

-Theft of property from Pelham Parkway (department store). Recovered was a box of pancake mix and bologna valued at $5.74.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana from Pelham Parkway (parking lot/garage). Recovered was 2.5 grams of suspected marijuana valued at $10.

-Fourth degree theft of property from Pelham Parkway (department store). Stolen was a mattress topper valued ay $163.46.

-Fourth-degree theft of property from 200 block of Normandy Lane (residence/home). Stolen was a utility trailer tag valued at $15.

-Theft of property and criminal mischief from 600 block of Cahaba Manor Trail (residence/home). Stolen was a painting valued at $1,000, a Japanese wedding dress valued at $1,500, a gold jewelry box valued at $25 and lamp valued at $10.

Aug. 8

-Third degree domestic assault from 100 block of Clark Street (highway street).

-Unauthorized use of vehicle from 100 block of Clark Street (highway/street).

-Lost property from Green Park South (field/woods). Lost was a brown wallet, an Alabama driver’s license, a Social Security Card and a Wells Fargo credit card.

-Third degree theft of property from Huntley Parkway (drug store). Merchandise valued at $945 was stolen.

-Possession of drug paraphernalia from Interstate 65 (highway/street). Recovered was a glass pipe with residue.

-First-degree theft of property from Stonehaven Terrace (residence/home). Stolen was a 14-carat diamond cluster ring set valued at $4,000 and U.S. silver dollars valued at $30 and Susan B. Anthony dollars.

Aug. 9

-Identity theft from 100 block of Windsor Lane (department store).

-Third degree theft of property from Pelham Parkway (drug store). Stolen was Gillette Fusion razors and cartridges valued at $708.31.

-Unlawful possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia from 100 block of Bishop Circle (hotel/motel). Recovered were syringes valued at $2, a glass pipe for smoking narcotics valued at $2 and a plastic bag containing 0.13 grams of suspected heroin valued at $5.

-Third degree domestic violence from 100 block of Courtyard Drive (residence/home).

-Theft of property from Interstate 65 (highway/street). Stolen was a power drill valued at $85, tools valued at $200, a hitch valued at $45 and a car battery valued at $50.

-Sodomy and rape from Green Park South (residence/home).

Aug. 10

-Property damage from Pelham Parkway (highway/street). Damage to the rear window of a 1992 Ford Ranger was valued at $100.

-Third degree domestic violence from Pelham Parkway (church).

-Second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia (highway/street). Recovered were glass pipes containing suspected methamphetamine residue valued at $5, a glass pipe used for smoking marijuana valued at $5 and a clear plastic bag containing 3 grams of suspected marijuana valued at $20.

-First-degree theft of property from Bishop Circle (parking lot/garage). Stolen was 12 foot enclosed trailer valued at $3,500, a welding machine valued at $1,800 and two weed eaters valued at $890.
