Helena Police Explorers hosting benefit golf tournament June 2

HELENA–The Helena Police Explorers will host their 8th annual benefit golf tournament on Thursday, June 2, with all proceeds going directly to the program.
The Helena Police Explorers are made up of young men and women who are interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.
Throughout the year, the explorers will travel to several competitions in the local area as well as national competitions to compete against other programs. The explorers also volunteer at festivals and events in the community.
The competitions explorers compete in consist of mock scenarios such as a traffic accident investigation, crime scene investigation and arrest and search.
The golf tournament will be played at Bent Brook Golf Club located at 7900 Dickey Springs Road in Birmingham with sign in scheduled for 7 a.m. and a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
The cost to play in the tournament is $100 per player and includes a round of golf, range balls, gift bag, lunch and automatic entry for door prizes.
The format for the tournament is a four-person scramble and a maximum of three mulligans may be purchased for $5 each.
