James Solon Joiner, age 78, of Columbiana, died Friday, Feb. 5.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9 at First Baptist Church of Columbiana with Dr. Mike Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Gardens.  Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the church. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Joiner is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Noma Joiner, and sisters, Ruby, Ellen Ruth and Lois.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca C. Joiner; children, William David Joiner (Michelle), Holli Joiner Argo, and Keith Starnes (Kim); grandchildren, Kerry Allen Joiner, Stephen Harris Joiner, James Aaron Shirley, Jenna Michelle Argo, Logan Starnes, Lawson Starnes, and Landon Starnes; sister, Della; brothers, Gene, Bobby, and Ronny, and numerous other family and friends.
