AUGUSTA, Ga.  University of Montevallo senior Terrell Lipkins averaged 34 points per game last week while helping the Falcons extend their winning streak in Peach Belt Conference play to six games.

The honor marked the second Player of the Week award for Lipkins this season.

Lipkins scored a career-high 41 points while tying the school record with 17 made field goals as he led the Falcons to a 109-85 victory at Armstrong State on Jan. 30.

Lipkins, who also grabbed four rebounds and dished out three assists, set a new single game scoring record at Alumni Hall on the Armstrong State campus with his 41 points.

Lipkins finished with a career-best 17 made field goals as he finished 17-of-24 from the floor, including 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. He finished just two points shy of the Montevallo men’s basketball program record of 43 points scored by Greg Brown against West Georgia during the 2006-07 season.

Lipkins scored a team-high 27 points and tied his season high with eight rebounds in the Falcons’ 79-78 win over North Georgia in conference play Jan. 27.

Lipkins is currently fourth in the Peach Belt Conference in scoring with an average of 22.2 points per game.
