PELHAM— Residents in Pelham can now frequent the new Burger King off U.S. 31 near the Mi Pueblo Supermarket. The restaurant has officially opened, and guests have already begun to visit the chain.

The Pelham Planning Commission approved the Burger King at its July 9, 2015, meeting. The new location took over the footprint previously occupied by Golden Rule Bar-B-Que.

Premier Kings Inc. was the developer of the project, which began in August 2015.

“We are looking to put a brand new Burger King in the old Golden Rule site,” Premier Kings vice president and general counsel John Howard said at the meeting. “It’s going to be a current image, first-class facility.”
