ALABASTER – The Moe’s restaurant in Alabaster’s Propst Promenade shopping center will be working to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association on Oct. 15.

From 5-8 p.m., the restaurant will donate 20 percent of its proceeds to MDA, which works to combat the disease.

According to the MDA, those affected by the degenerative disease progressively lose their muscle mass, and can eventually lose their ability to move independently.
