MT LAUREL—Celebrate fall and learn about local artisans and businesses at the first edition of Fall in Love with Your Community in Mt Laurel on Sept. 23. Hosted by Simply Infused, the event will showcase a variety of local vendors in a pop up shop-style setting.

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., vendors will set up booths along the sidewalk at the corner of Hawthorn and Olmsted streets. Shoppers will be able to browse goods and learn more about local business owners.

“It’s local talent, whether it’s artisans, businesses or services,” Simply Infused owner Cheryl Harper said. “It’s about getting people to see what’s in their own back yard.”

Harper said she expects to see between 10 and 15 vendors at the event. Additionally, several local Mt Laurel businesses will participate with specials and promotions, Harper said.

The event is not only about showcasing local talent, it is also a chance for the community to gather and mingle.

“It’s about getting them to slow down and enjoy and rub elbows with their neighbors,” Harper said. “Whether they buy or not, they can still be inspired.”

A second shop local pop up shop event at Simply Infused is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15.

“My passion is the community, serving the community and giving back to the community,” Harper said.
