Before the storm. This mid-1920s photo shows Luther Nunnally, Jr. enjoying the snow.
His home along with all the others in this photo on Main Street were later destroyed in the 1933 tornado that devastated Helena.
While little Luther survived, some of his neighbors did not. This and many other photographs were shared with the City of Helena Museum by Carol Nunnally Black.
