ELMORE – On the opening night of the season for the Coosa Valley Rebels, they traveled to play an Edgewood team that carried into the game the longest win streak in the state of Alabama in any classification at 58 wins in a row spanning back to 2010. That trend continued on this night as Edgewood thumped Coosa Valley 68-8. The Rebels fall to 0-1 and will regroup to play Evangel Christian Academy out of Montgomery.
