HOOVER—More than 500,000 square feet of office space on U.S. 280 will be up for auction later this month. Bidding for the Meadow Brook North property starts at $13 million and the auction will be open from June 22 through June 24.

Located off of U.S. 280 on Corporate Drive, between Alabama 119 and Valleydale Road, the 31-acre property includes four office buildings, totaling 508,976 square feet across seven floors, according to Auction.com.

The website lists Georgia-based commercial real estate company, Transwestern, as the property agent.

The property was developed by Daniel Corporation, and the four office buildings were constructed in 1986.

“Meadow Brook North was developed by Daniel Corporation and has always been operated and leased by the company,” the Auction.com listing read.

According to Auction.com, the property reported a 58.8 percent occupancy rate on June 1. Current tenants include BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama, University of Phoenix, Liberty Mutual, Fidelity Information Services and the Alabama Department of Transportation.
