The Shelby County Wildcats captured their second win of the season in a road contest with Talladega High, 31-13.

Kevontae Mayfield and Austin Childers each had six tackles, while Mayfiled made a big defensive play with a 31-yard interception return for a score. Childers scored a SCHS touchdown on a 22-yard run, while Auston Tolleson had touchdown runs of 11 and 15 yards. Aldo Jones put the icing on the cake when he booted a 22-yard field goal to give the Cats a 31-13 win.

The Wildcats move on toto a bye week on Oct. 24.
