After two tough weeks of out-of-classification competition, the Vincent Yellow Jackets were more than happy to take on someone else in AHSAA Class 2A competition, taking Holy Spirit of Tuscaloosa down, 54-26.

“I was pretty pleased,” head coach Jason Hill said. “We scored in a lot of different ways. It was great to get our first region win. (We’re) hoping to build off this.”

Stats were unavailable at press time. The Jackets will be open Sept. 12.
