The Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested Cynthia Ann Malone, who lists an address in the 800 block of Third Avenue Northwest in Alabaster, on Aug. 16 and charged her with three felony counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

Malone’s arrest came a few months after she allegedly distributed amphetamine dextroamphetamine – a stimulant commonly known as Adderall – and the painkiller oxycodone at three locations in the city.

According to her arrest warrants, Malone allegedly distributed amphetamine dextroamphetamine at 242 First St. W in Alabaster on Feb. 4 and again at 515 First St. SW in Alabaster on March 11. She also has been charged with distributing amphetamine dextroamphetamine and oxycodone in the 300 block of Colonial Promenade Parkway in Alabaster on Feb. 17.

Unlawful distribution is a Class B felony. If convicted of the crimes, Malone could face between two and 20 years in prison per charge.
