HOOVER — The city of Hoover’s annual Household Hazardous Waste Day is set for April 26 from 8 a.m. to noon at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.

Household Hazardous Waste Day is an opportunity for Hoover residents to safely dispose of household chemicals, pesticides, paints, batteries, automobile fluids, electronics, medications, guns, ammunition and other hazardous items.

A verification of residency (valid driver’s license or current photo ID with address) is required for participation. Businesses are prohibited from disposing items.
