CHELSEA — The Chelsea High School Parent Teacher Organization has launched a fundraiser to finance upgrades to the school’s 642-seat auditorium.
A $150 donation will secure a “Legacy Seat” in the renovated auditorium complete with “an attractive plate containing your personalized dedication.” Sponsors have the option of dedicating their seat to a friend or relative, an event or a business. All proceeds will go toward auditorium renovations.
“It is vital to Chelsea High School that we update our auditorium, as it is often the first and sometimes the only part of our school visitors see, and is also the venue to showcase all of our talented students,” the PTO said. “Leave a legacy at Chelsea High School and help us realize the dream of a state-of-the-art auditorium for our students and our community by naming a seat.”
Seats will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. To become a sponsor, complete the donation form found on Chelsea High School’s PTO website at chhspto.weebly.com/forms.html and return the form to the school or mail it to the address on the form.
