The Evangel Lightning rolled again Oct. 18, taking down Heritage Christian (Ga.) on the road, 57-0.

Clay O’Neal led the Lightning on the ground with two rushes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Colin Carr had six rushes for 45 yards. Andrew Thompson was 7-of-9 passing  for 121 yards and three scores. Tyler Byrd led the Lightning defensively with six solo tackles.

The Lightning will take Oct. 25 off, and will resume Nov. 1 against Hope Christian in the Sky Bowl rivalry game.
