Dr. Arthur M. Freeman III of Birmingham is the recipient of Indian Springs School’s Outstanding Alum of the Year Award.

Freeman, a 1959 graduate, was honored during Alumni Weekend activities on May 30. He is a clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Alabama Birmingham and a psychiatrist at Grayson and Associates in Birmingham.

The award came with a multimedia presentation of Freeman’s life and a commemorative plaque that includes a photograph of the ISS campus taken by graduate Emory Bright of Birmingham.

Freeman and wife Linda have three children and three grandchildren.
