The Alabaster Police Department is looking for the public’s help in identifying a “person of interest” in a recent theft case at the Alabaster Walmart.
On Aug. 24, police posted a surveillance photo of a woman wearing a light blue shirt and pushing a grocery cart at the department store in the Propst Promenade shopping center. The photo was taken on Aug. 14.
“We are just trying to identify this woman,” said Alabaster Police Chief Curtis Rigney. “She is a person of interest in a theft case that happened at Walmart where a wallet was stolen.
“She may have seen something, we don’t know,” Rigney added.
Anyone with information regarding the woman is encouraged to call Alabaster detective Paul Johnson at 664-6850.
