The Alabama Department of Transportation will continue to hold nightly lane closures on Alabama 119 this week, as crews work to repave the road.

The following portions of Alabama 119 will be closed this week:

-Beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, crews began closing portions of Alabama 119 between Alabama 25 in Montevallo and Shelby County 26 in Alabaster. The road was reopened at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5.

The lane closures will be held during the same times each night through the night of Thursday, Aug. 8.

-Beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, crews closed portions of Alabama 119 between U.S. 280 and the Jefferson-Shelby county line. All lanes were reopened at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5.

The lane closures will be held during the same times each night through the night of Friday, Aug. 9.
