The Alabama Department of Transportation will close portions of Alabama 119 east of U.S. 280 this week to continue repaving the road.

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, crews will close sections of Alabama 119 between U.S. 280 and the Shelby-Jefferson county line. The road will reopen by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17.

Crews will close the road during the same times each night thought the night of Saturday, July 20.
