Arrest made in Inverness bank robbery

INVERNESS — Hoover Police have arrested and charged a suspect with a bank robbery in the Inverness area.
Eric Nilse Thomas, 49, of Alabaster was arrested July 12 for a robbery at 102 Inverness Plaza. Thomas stole an undetermined amount of money, according to previous reports.
Thomas was charged with two counts of robbery in the first degree, and is awaiting transfer to the Shelby County Jail. His total bond is $120,000, according to the presss release.
