The Alabama Department of Transportation will close portions of Alabama 119 in several places throughout Shelby County over the next week.

-From 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 until 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 30, crews will close portions of Alabama 119 between U.S. 280 and the Jefferson-Shelby county line to repave the road. The work will continue during the same times through the night of Tuesday, July 2.

-From 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 30 until 6 a.m. on Monday, July 1, ALDOT also will close portions of Alabama 119 in Alabaster between U.S. 31 and Shelby County 26 to repave the roads. The work will continue during the same times through the night of Tuesday, July 2.

-From 7 p.m. on Monday, July 1 through 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, crews will close portions of Alabama 119 between Interstate 65 in Pelham and U.S. 280 to restripe the road. The work will continue during the same times through the night of Tuesday, July 2.
