Arrests made in McGlothan death

Two arrests have been made in connection with the murder of North Shelby resident Cameron McGlothan, according to a statement from the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office.
Demarcus James Samuels, 18, of Sylacauga and Justin Dewayne Hamilton, 19, of Chelsea were charged with capital murder during robbery in the first degree. They are being held in the Talledega County Jail without bond, according to a post on the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
McGlothan, 19, was found dead along the side of a county road in Talladega County in mid-March. He had been missing since March 5.
