HOOVER – St. Vincent’s One Nineteen will host a block party and health festival on Saturday, June 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. The festival will offer free health screenings including cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, vision/hearing, skin cancer evaluations, colorectal take-home kits, physical therapy consultations, prescription consultations, and foot screening/analysis.

The family friendly festival will feature entertainment from the Back in Time Band and The Double Feature Band with Cathy Palmer, a demonstration from the Flyball Dogs, and free Zumba, hula hoop and spinning classes.

Other activities to be held at this year’s event include free chair massages from Spa One Nineteen and the opportunity to visit healthy information booths from local organizations and physician offices. The festival will also feature a kids’ zone, including moonwalks and a face painting station.

St. Vincent’s One Nineteen is located at 7191 Cahaba Valley Road in Hoover.
